Originally from Canada, Carlie now lives in the UK, where she is studying for her PhD. She holds a BA in English Literature, a Postgraduate Certificate in Creative Writing and a Master’s degree in Creative and Critical Writing, bringing a strong academic foundation and a genuine appreciation of storytelling to her editorial work.
Carlie specialises in Contemporary and Women’s Fiction, Romance, Literary Fiction, Horror, Thrillers, Young Adult Fantasy, Short Fiction and Poetry. From emotionally engaging love stories to suspenseful narratives and carefully crafted verse, she enjoys exploring the finer details of language, character and storytelling.
With a thoughtful, encouraging approach, Carlie works alongside writers to strengthen their manuscripts, offering clear, constructive feedback while remaining attentive to each author’s individual voice and intentions.
