By the end of the retreat, you’ll not only leave with completed chapters, and new ideas, but with a deeper understanding of your craft and a clear path forward as a writer.
There’s no set menu here. Meals are prepared daily from fresh market ingredients, with chef Bavanni serving up the finest seafood and local dishes Malaysia has to offer. Special diets can be accommodated. Please tell us if you have special dietary requirements, e.g., vegetarian, vegan, lactose intolerant, gluten-free and to inform us of any food allergies or particular dislikes.
Accommodation at Tiger Rock offers a variety of unique spaces, each blending character with comfort.
The Main House is a traditional Malaysian-style treehouse with modern amenities, ensuite bathrooms, and a veranda for watching monkeys in the trees.
Hill House, inspired by a colonial tea estate bungalow, features open-air living spaces and four private suites with verandas and sea views.
The colourful Studio has French doors, a rock bathroom, and a private lawn overlooking the jungle, while the Pool House Chalet provides a charming, easily accessible room with its own veranda close to the pool.
We are more than happy for you to bring a guest. If they don't want to take part in the workshops, there are lots of things in the area to explore.
